Abstract: A receiver resource administrator coordinates uplink transmissions from a mobile terminal in order to reduce the RAKE resources required to support the mobile terminal and to provide greater predictability in the uplink transmissions. The reduction of RAKE resources and the increased predictability of the uplink transmissions enable multiplexing of multiple mobile terminals using the same RAKE resources.
