Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for allowing a communication station access to a communication system. According to the invention the method is carried out in a way that a logical node of the communication system checks a reception of at least one payment message, wherein the payment message received by the communication system from a communication station, wherein the payment message contains information which constitutes digital money and wherein by sending the payment message digital money for a payment of communication costs is transferred from the communication station to the communication system. The invention further relates to a communication system, a processing means, a logical node, a communication station, a computer program and a computer program product.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of automatically paying an amount to a merchant account, wherein a merchant indentifier and a transaction amount are acquired from a user equipment, wherein the transaction amount is verified and upon receipt from a verification, the transaction amount is transferred from the customer account to the merchant account and wherein at least one parameter of the payment depends on the geogaphical position of the user equipment. The user equipment sends a purchase request message PRM to a first server, wherein the purchase request message PRM includes information about the location of the user equipment UE. The first server sends an authorization request message ARM which contains the location information to an authorization server AS, and the authorization server AS decides about an authorization of the payment by evaluating the location information. The authorization server AS sends an authorization response message ARPM to the first server S1 depending on the evaluation of the location information.

Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for providing information related to a client (C) to a first web server (WS1). The invention further relates to a proxy server, a program unit loadable into a proxy server, a web server, and a program unit loadable into a web server, all of them to perform the invented method. A second web server (WS2) stores the information related to the client (C), and the first web server (WS1) is connected to the client (C) via a proxy server (PS). The proxy server stores a cookie for the first web server (WS1), the cookie being related to the client (C) and the cookie comprising a network address of the second web server (WS2). The client (C) sends a message towards the first web server (WS1) via the proxy server (PS). The message is received in the proxy server (PS), that inserts the cookie into the message, and forwards the message to the first web server (WS1). The first web server (WS1) receives the message, retrieves the network address of the second web server (WS2) from the cookie, and requests the second web server (WS2) for the information related to the client (C). The second web server (WS2) sends information related to the client (C) to the first web server (WS1).
Abstract:
To achieve an improved overview on service charges for a subscriber to a digital cellular communication network it is proposed to provide a mobile station with a charging indicating unit (6) adapted to receive charging information as unstructured supplementary service data messages (USSD) via the unstructured supplementary service data dialog. Therefore, it is possible to provide charging information without any impact on the hardware of the mobile station (MS). Further, as more detailed information on the kind of service and on the amount of data transferred is available a detailed estimate on the actual cost may be displayed to the user of the mobile station.
Abstract:
THE INVENTION RELATES TO A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, A METHOD AND DEVICES FOR AN EFFICIENT IMPLEMENTATION OF ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN A MOBILE SUBSCRIBER IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND A NETWORK FACILITY BY EXPLOITING CREDIT CARD BASED PAYMENT PROTOCOLS. THE PROTOCOL, WHICH IS USED FOR REALIZING A SECURED ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION, SUCH AS THE SETTM, IS SPLIT OVER A PLURALITY OF INVOLVED COMMUNICATION UNITS. FOR REALIZING THE INVENTION, THE FIRST PART OF THE PROTOCOL, WHICH IS USUALLY CONTAINED IN THE MOBILE STATION OF A USER, IS SPLIT INTO TWO PARTS. THE FIRST PART CONTAINING THE PRIVATE DATA OF A SUBSCRIBER, SUCH AS THE PRIVATE KEY OR THE CERTIFICATES, IS MAINTAINED IN THE MOBILE STATION. THE SECOND PART OF THE SOFTWARE IS SHIFTED TO A SERVER BEING POSITIONED BETWEEN THE MOBILE STATION AND THE MERCHANT. THUS, THE INVENTION GUARANTEES ON ONE HAND THE POSSIBILITY OF INTEGRATING COMPLEX SOFTWARE FOR AN ELECTRONIC WAY OF PAYMENT IN A NETWORK, WHICH IS CHARACTERIZED BY A SMALL TRANSMISSION CAPACITY AND TERMINALS HAVING AN INSUFFICIENT STORING CAPACITY, AND ON THE OTHER HAND THE MAINTENANCE OF SECURITY ASPECTS ON THE USER SIDE. ADDITIONALLY, THE INVENTION GUARANTEES THE COMPATIBILITY WITH THE ALREADY EXISTING SOFTWARE. (FIGURE 1)
Abstract:
The method involves receiving a payment request via a communications filter (Fl), modifying the request by adding a transaction identifier, passing it to a transaction server (WS), passing information with the identifier from the filter to a communications terminal (MS), passing a payment initialization with a further identifier from the terminal to the server, comparing the identifiers and transacting the payment if the identifiers agree. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a filter for a communications system (2) a transaction server (3) a computer program stored on a computer-readable medium

Abstract:
A method for the authorization of transactions is described, wherein a user equipment receives an authorization request with an identifier of a transaction and replies to the request with an authorization response. For an authorization request, an indication is determined which is output by the user equipment (UE). Preferably, the identifier is a hash value of the content which is to be authorized. After an input to approve or disapprove the authorization request, the identifier (H) is signed and the authorization response according to the input is sent, wherein an approving authorization response comprises the signed identifier (H). Devices and software programs adapted to the method are also described.
