Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily mount a pattern simulator on also an existing simple grinding machine by making this simulator a selfsupported machine device. CONSTITUTION: A pattern simulator is made a selfsupported machine device, is mounted on a pattern supporting shaft 17 of an existing grinding machine so that the simulator may be freely mounted and is provided with a mounting member 27 keyed so as to revolve integrally with this shaft 17, a frame 28 freely rotatably supporting this mounting member 27 and a skid 29 supported on a supporting key of the grinding machine. This skid 29 is provided on the frame 28 so as to move almost perpendicular to a shaft line of the mounting member 27. Further, this pattern simulator is provided with an angle forming means for controlling an angular part location around the axial line of this mounting member 27.
