Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the whole visual field by a partial binocular summing effect for a far visual field by one of two lenses and a near visual field by the other lens. CONSTITUTION: Each lens has an aspheric surface consisting of a far visual field area VL, a near visual field area VP, an intermediate visual field area VI, and a gradual progress main meridian MM' and the meridians MM' of two lenses arc mutually substantially symmetrical. One of these lenses is especially used for a far visual field, the other lens is especially used for a near visual field and the lens used for the far visual field has a far visual field area wider than that of the lens used for the near visual field and has a near visual field area narrower than that of the lens used for the near visual field.
