Abstract: Two fixed fingers (13A) are secured to the frame of the equipment (18) and two moving fingers (13B) are able to approach the fixed fingers to grip the rims of spectacle frames. The moving fingers (13B) are attached to blocks (28) which have flanges (30). The blocks (28) and flanges (30) slide vertically in the frame (18) of the equipment actuated by a rack (24) and pinion (25) and driven by a motor (27). A detector of position (22) is linked to the controller (20) of a feeler (15) which reads the outline of the spectacle frames.
