Abstract: An eyeglass frame comprises two surrounds each receiving a respective lens. A bridge joining together the surrounds comprises a generally omega-shaped spring. This has two lateral lugs by each of which it is attached to a respective surround. Its middle part has two ends with concave sides facing towards each other and set back relative to the lateral lugs. A nose-side support arrangement is fitted to the bridge and comprises a U-shaped support having two branches each of which is interlocked with a respective end of the middle part of the bridge.

Abstract: This is a spectacles frame, the front structure 10 of which includes, in common to both lenses 11, a main (master) bar 14, and, for each lens 11, a ledge (gallery) 15 which, pressed up against the main (master) bar 14, is suitable for locally buttressing such a lens 11, and a flexible filament 17 which, attached at its ends to this front structure 10, goes around this lens 11 over at least part of the remaining portion of its periphery. According to the invention, for each lens 11, the ledge (gallery) 15 is reduced to a strip offering only a single bearing surface to such a lens 11, and to it is adjoined at least one stud 27 which, projecting on its face opposite the main (master) bar 14, overhangs this face on the side of the lens 11, slightly extending over the latter. Application to spectacles frames surrounding the lenses to a greater or lesser extent.
