Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color reproduction method which can achieve highly accurate color reproducibility depending on the color characteristics of an object device to be emulated, and to provide a color reproduction apparatus and a computer program.SOLUTION: A pre-colorimetry patch generation unit 131 generates a pre-colorimetry patch that is inputted to a display 200, in order to calculate an evaluation value for evaluating the color characteristics of the display 200. A color characteristics evaluation value calculation unit 14 calculates an evaluation value related to the color characteristics of the display 200 on the basis of the colorimetric data obtained from the display 200 when the pre-colorimetry patch is outputted thereto. A calculation model selection unit 16 selects one calculation model, among a plurality of different calculation models, for reproducing the color of the color characteristics of the display 200 on a display 300, depending on the evaluation value calculated in the color characteristics evaluation value calculation unit 14.
