Abstract: Device for spraying a coolant into a compartment, such as the driver/passenger compartment of a vehicle, which is to be cooled, characterised in that it consists of a casing (1) which comprises a chamber (6) in which is located an atomisation chamber (2) comprising the coolant, and, at the centre of the upper part of which is formed an opening (8) providing the communication between at least one spray outlet (9) and an upper chamber (10) containing a mechanism (3) for actuating a valve (11) of the said vaporising tank (2), the said valve (11) passing through the opening (8) and extending into the said upper chamber (10).
