Abstract: A thin-walled polyether block amide (PEBA) tube 40 with a thickness of no greater than 100 micrometres. The tubes may be formed by extruding a PEBA copolymer. The tube may also comprise a permeable support 10. This support may be made of a metal or polymer and may be a braided sleeve. The support may be configured either inside or outside the PEBA tube. The support may be porous with the PEBA having been melted into the pores of the support. The support may have an open area of 60 % or more. In embodiments, the tube wall thickness may be no greater than 75 micrometres. The tube may comprise additives to improve mechanical strength, desiccants to increase moisture vapour transfer rate and biocides. The tubes may form part of a pervaporation module.

Abstract: An ozone (O3) generator system 10 that utilizes an electrochemical cell 12 to produce and control ozone concentrations within an enclosure or to supply ozone to a flow conduit is described. The enclosure 50 may be coupled with a flow conduit that carries the produced ozone to a desired location. The enclosure 50 may also be a sterilization chamber, and the concentration of ozone produced by the ozone generating system can sterilize articles within the enclosure. An oxygen control electrolyser cell (Figure 2, 16) and/or humidity control electrolyzer cell may be coupled with the enclosure to further control the environment of the enclosure. A humidity control electrolyzer cell may be fluidly coupled with the ozone generator to supply humidity for reaction on the anode of the ozone generator a humidity sensor 83 may also be provided . The ozone generator comprises an electrochemical cell 12 with a control system (Figure 4, 81) where the cell 12 may comprise an anode 20 and cathode 40 separated by a proton exchange membrane (PEM) 32 or membrane electrode assembly (MEA). The system 10 can also include a fan to force a flow of air over the anode. Multiple cells (Figure 5) may be provided in the system 10.
