PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter assembly having a filter element and a container as a storing part for a liquid additive. SOLUTION: The filter assembly 10 is provided with the container 24 for storing the liquid additive having an inlet port 42 and an outlet port 44, liquid introduced into a liquid flowing region 28 flows into the container by liquid pressure through a capillary tube 48 and the inlet port, entraining the liquid additive to flow out to an exit 20 of the filter assembly via the outlet port. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable cone stack self driving type centrifugal separation rotor assembly for separating a granular material from a circulating oil flow. SOLUTION: The rotor assembly 20 has 1st and 2nd rotor shell parts 22, 23 formed by injection molding a plastic. The rotor shell parts are welded at engaging edge parts 26, 27 with ultrasonic to form a surrounding shell provided with a hollow part. An injection molded plastic made supporting hub 25 is incorporated into the center opening part of the rotor shell lower half part to exist inside the hollow part to extend upward and an injection molded plastic made supporting/matching spool 24 is incorporated into the center opening part of the rotor shell upper part to exist inside the hollow part to extend downward. A cone stack assembly 21 provided with injection molded plastic made plural separation cones is arranged to form a matching stack, located inside the hollow part and assembled to make the supporting hub 25 and the spool 24 co-operate with each other.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-driving centrifuge (20) of a throw away type. SOLUTION: The self-driving centrifuge (20) of the throw away type has a preassembly (21) constituted by stacking cones on each other and has first and second rotor shell sections (22 and 23). The rotor shell sections (22 and 23) are constituted by injection molding of plastic materials and the shells are formed by joining engaging edges (26 and 27) to each other. A plastic hub (25) of an injection molding is assembled into the central opening existing in the lower half of the rotor shells and is extended upward to enter the hollow inside. A centering spool (24) is assembled to the central opening existing in the upper half of the rotor shells and is extended downward to enter the hollow inside.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filter assembly that has a fuel transfer pump and has a water separating characteristic. SOLUTION: The fuel filter assembly 20 has an outer shell 21. A first end of the outer shell 21 has a fuel inlet passage 39, a fuel outlet passage 40 and a water collecting region 35, and a second end thereof is closable by a removable lid 22. A fuel filter cartridge 23 is disposed in the outer shell 21. The cartridge has a filter element 63 for filtering out water. A fuel transfer pump 42 is disposed in an internal space 38 of the filter element 63. An operation of a plunger 78 causes a filter detector control circuit to prevent fuel delivery to a downstream position unless the fuel filter cartridge is disposed properly.
