Abstract: A conveyor apparatus includes a first conveyor apparatus [5] and a second conveyor apparatus [4]. The first conveyor apparatus [5] is positionable adjacent to a feed conveying device [2]. The first conveyor apparatus [5] is configured to pivot about a position adjacent to the feed conveying device [2] or move laterally adjacent to the feed conveying device [2]. The second conveyor apparatus [4] is configured to move such that the second conveyor apparatus [4] maintains a position substantially parallel to the first conveyor apparatus [5] when the first conveyor apparatus [5] moves or pivots. In some embodiments, the second conveyor apparatus [4] may also be configured to move along a path so that the second conveyor apparatus [4] is extendable beyond an end of the first conveyor apparatus [5]. The path may be a linear path and may be substantially parallel to the length of the first conveyor apparatus [5] such as a path that extends in a direction that is a few degrees off of being perfectly parallel.

Abstract: A system and method for material handling includes a first portable conveyor for feeding material to a mobile bridge conveyor for the material to be stacked via a stacker until a discharge end of the mobile bridge conveyor is at or within a predetermined distance of a discharge end of the first portable conveyor. The first portable conveyor moves away from the mobile bridge conveyor after the discharge end of mobile bridge conveyor is at or within the predetermined distance of the discharge end of the first portable conveyor. A second portable conveyor that feeds material to the first portable conveyor rotates such that a discharge end of the second portable conveyor is moved towards the mobile bridge conveyor until reaching a feeding position for feeding material to the mobile bridge.
