    Abstract: A method adapted for the disposal of wastewater originating from processes or treatments of products of the agroalimentary industry, in particular vegetable water originating from the processing of olive oil. The method uses substantially a synergistic composition of at least one clay and at least one polyelectrolyte. By placing this composition in contact with the wastewater, one obtains the coagulation-flocculation of the wastewater and the consequent precipitation of all suspended solids, both macroscopic ones and colloidal- and mycellar-sized ones. The method allows to coagulate the wastewater, making it adapted for subsequent molecular filtration operations. In one embodiment, the method allows to separate the wastewater into a solid component, into clean water and into a highly concentrated aqueous solution, all products which can be reused in the industrial chain as recycled raw materials. An apparatus for performing the method cited above and the synergistic composition of at least one clay and at least one polyelectrolyte to be used in the above method are also described.
