Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker module capable of extending a sound arrival distance while suppressing increase in the number of speakers.
SOLUTION: One planar speaker unit 10 (in a direction of the arrow L) and the other planar speaker unit 10 (in a direction of the arrow R) are located nearly in the same direction (in a direction of the arrow F) but slightly inwardly and an equalizer 104 is located between both the speaker units. Both diaphragms 16 emit plane waves toward a vertical direction, the plane waves emitted from both the diaphragms 16 are composed on an axial line at the midpoint of the both so that the sound can reach a remote place. Since the equalizer 104 suppresses interference (cancellation) between the plane wave emitted from the one diaphragm 16 and the plane wave emitted from the other diaphragm 16 in the units in the vicinity of the diaphragms, the sound pressure level on the axial line at the midpoint of both the diaphragms 16 can surely be increased.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat with speakers capable of creating a sound field around ears of a person sitting in the seat, the person being capable of naturally and clearly listening to sound from an electroacoustic apparatus and also clearly listening to an environmental noise by means of the sound field.
SOLUTION: A speaker support member 18 is fitted respectively to both left and right sides of a headrest 16 of the seat, and speaker units 20C, M, S for emitting a plane wave are embedded to the inside of an inner face side of the seat. The person 22 sitting in a seat cushion 12 can hear a sound of plane waves going straight on the ears 24 from the speaker units 20C, M, S located just beside both the ears 24 by both the ears and even the environment sound simultaneously propagated from the surrounding by both the ears 24 simultaneously.
