Abstract: The apparatus includes a light source (4), e.g. a laser and at least three reflective elements (2,3). At least one of the reflective elements is attached to a carrier element (7), used for providing parallel light beams (13) with variable spacing. Each reflective element may be provided by a prism, with at least one reflective element secured to the carrier element for relative displacement via a fixing rail along which the reflective element can move, for adjusting the beam spacing.
