Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method and system for correcting an application image so as to reduce the number of correction maps requiring maintenance. SOLUTION: Grid dedicated correction maps 151-153 and non-grid correction maps 154-156 are determined and the application image is corrected on the basis of the combination of these correction maps. In the other style, this device is provided with a computer readable medium storing software for automatically detecting/correcting a grid image inside the application image and calculating/ applying the grid dedicated and non-grid correction maps.
