Abstract: According to an implementation of the disclosure, a data management application executing on a mobile device may receive from another application executing on the mobile device, a request to provide data via a network communication component of the mobile device to a server system that is remote from the mobile device. The data management application may determine that data limiting conditions associated with the requesting application have been satisfied. In response to the determination that the data limiting condition have been satisfied, the data management application may prevent access by the requesting application to the network communication component and present a prompt to a user that may allow the user to permit the requesting application to access the network.
