Abstract:
A display device includes an electronic paper display imageable by receiving charges on an imaging surface of the electronic paper display, a ground electrode, and a ground access stripe. The ground electrode is opposite to the imaging surface of the electronic paper display. The ground access stripe is on a surface of the display device and electrically coupled to the ground electrode.
Abstract:
Print glossing is described. Print glossing can be performed on a glossing drum having a location affixed to a circumferential outer surface thereof, where the location transits from a first position in an apparatus having a first temperature range selected to enable reflow of ink applied to a substrate that is placed at the location to a second position in the apparatus having a second temperature range selected for clean release from the location of the ink applied to the substrate.
Abstract:
A writing device to write on a media, which includes a passive electronic paper display and a storage medium. The writing device comprises a first component to at least read the storage medium and a second component to at least write to the electronic paper display during relative movement between the second component and the media.
Abstract:
One example of a mobile imaging device includes a single ion source, a ground connector, and an interface. The single ion source is to erase and write to an electronic paper display by depositing charges onto an imaging surface of the electronic paper display as the imaging device and the electronic paper display are moved relative to each other. The electronic paper display includes a ground return path. The ground connector maintains an electrical connection to the ground return path as the imaging device and the electronic paper display are moved relative to each other during erasing or writing to the electronic paper display. The interface is for transferring data between the imaging device and a computing device.
Abstract:
Techniques for liquid electrography printing are described herein. In at least some examples herein, a liquid electrographic printer includes a charging element for charging a photo imaging plate (PIP). A light source irradiates light onto the charge element. The irradiated light is to heat the charge element to a selected temperature.
Abstract:
A charge-receiving layer for an e-paper assembly includes a plurality of conductive paths spaced apart throughout an insulative matrix, with each conductive path including at least one elongate pattern of conductive particles.
Abstract:
A media includes at least one passive e-paper display. The display has a first side and an opposite, second side, with the display defining an image-bearing surface that is generally co-extensive with substantially the entire first side.
Abstract:
Printers, methods, and apparatus to form an image on a substrate are disclosed. An example apparatus to form an image on a print substrate includes an applicator to apply a first material, an ink developer to apply a plurality of ink particles, and a transfer cylinder to transfer the ink particles and the first material to a print substrate to form an image and a coating.
Abstract:
One example of a financial transaction medium includes a passive electronic paper display. A security code is displayed on a portion of the passive electronic paper display.
