Abstract:
Described herein are techniques for generating a visualization relating to execution of a workload. Multiple measurements of a plurality of metrics relating to execution of the workload may be aggregated at multiple levels of execution. A visualization may be generated that comprises a representation of the measurements of a metric at one of the levels of execution.

Additionally, a network connectivity module (335) is coupled with the housing (105), wherein the network connectivity module (335) is a wired network connectivity module (335) when the portable computing device is coupled with the portable dock (105) and wherein the network connectivity module (335) is a wireless network connectivity module (335) when the portable computing system (205) is not coupled with the portable dock (105).
Abstract:
Systems and methods are described herein to display 3D part models with nonlinearly scaled bounding boxes and/or font sizes. The system may calculate display dimensions of a nonlinearly scaled bounding box as a nonlinear function of the print dimensions of a 3D part model. The system may additionally or alternatively select font sizes that are inversely proportional to the print dimensions of the 3D part model. The system may render a two-dimensional view of the 3D part model within the nonlinearly scaled bounding box for display on an electronic display. The system may also render the print dimensions of the 3D part model in the selected font size for display on the electronic display proximate the nonlinearly scaled bounding box.
Abstract:
An accessory housing that is positionable over at least a first camera of the computing device. Additionally, the accessory device can include an optical structure. The optical structure can be provided with the accessory housing in optical alignment with a lens of the first camera. Additionally, optical structure can reflect environmental lighting received from a region outside of an original field-of-view of the lens of the first camera to the lens of the first camera. Moreover, the environmental lighting can be received in a non-cognizable form.
Abstract:
An enhanced reality system, in an example, includes an input device, the input device including a first arm and a second arm configured to be held together by a user; a sensor to sense, at least, a relative position of at least a portion of the first and second arms; wherein sensing, at least, the relative position of the first and second arms comprises a haptic retargeting process that simulates a touching of ends of the first and second arms to the outer surface of a virtual object presented in the enhanced reality environment.
Abstract:
In an example, a method is described. The method includes determining a cryptographically-derived content for a marking based on a blockchain ledger. The blockchain ledger comprises a record authorizing a manufacturing apparatus to create an object. The method further includes determining object creation instructions to create a modified version of the object comprising the marking. The manufacturing apparatus may create the modified version of the object according to the determined object creation instructions.
Abstract:
A three-dimensional (3D) printing device includes a processor and memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The processor verifies that a digital contract certified by an authorized party is authentic and applicable. The digital contract includes a process bound, a part bound for each part in a packed bed of parts, a time bound, and a cost identifier to define a cost of printing the packed bed that is based on the process bound, the part bound for each part in the packed bed of parts, and the time bound.
Abstract:
In an example implementation, a heating element assembly to heat a surface of a print bed includes a rotatable disc positioned over the print bed. A thermal sensor is mounted to the disc at a first radius to pass over and measure the temperature of a region of the print bed as the disc rotates. A heating element is mounted to the disc at the first radius to pass over and heat the region of the print bed when the measured temperature is below an expected temperature.
Abstract:
In one example implementation, a system for ranking target dimensions includes a model engine to generate a three-dimensional (3D) model of an object from a scan of the object, an analysis engine to analyze the 3D model of the object and determine target dimensions of the object, a ranking engine to rank the target dimensions based on target dimension characteristics, historical scan information related to the target dimension characteristics, or a combination thereof, and a display engine to display information relating to the ranked target dimensions of the object.
Abstract:
In a method for managing a plurality of data entities, data pertaining to transactions by a plurality of users with respect to the data entities is collected and a collaborative filtering operation is applied on the data entities to determine similarity levels of the data entities with respect to each other. In addition, for at least one of the data entities, remaining ones of the data entities are ranked according to the determined similarities while discounting for popularities of the data entities. Moreover, identifications of at least another one of the data entities having the highest rankings to the at least one of the data entities are presented to a first user to recommend the at least another one of the data entities for use by the first user.
