Abstract: The present disclosure describes materials, methods, and systems for three-dimensional printing. In one example, a three-dimensional printing kit can include a fusing agent and a microbe-inhibiting agent. The fusing agent can include water and an electromagnetic radiation absorber. The electromagnetic radiation absorber can absorb radiation and convert the radiation energy to heat. The microbe-inhibiting agent can include a liquid vehicle and a metal bis(dithiolene) complex. The disclosure also describes methods of three- dimensional printing that utilize a metal-containing microbe-inhibiting material, which can be a metal bis(dithiolene) complex or other materials.

Abstract: In example implementations, a microfluidic chip is provided. The microfluidic chip includes a first channel, a second channel, and a plasmonic sensor. The first channel includes a first antibiotic chamber and a first filter chamber. The first antibiotic chamber includes a first media and a first antibiotic that is rehydrated by a bacterial suspension and the first filter chamber is to filter bacteria from first metabolites released from the bacteria in response to incubation with a buffer solution. The second channel includes a second antibiotic chamber and a second filter chamber. The second antibiotic chamber includes a second media and a second antibiotic that is rehydrated by the bacterial suspension and the second filter chamber is to filter the bacteria from second metabolites released from the bacteria in response to incubation with the buffer solution. The first channel and the second channel pass over the plasmonic sensor. The plasmonic sensor is to measure an amount of the first metabolites and the second metabolites.

Abstract: In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a plasmonic sensor that is functionalized to immobilize a target molecule, a first light source, a second light source, and a detection device. The first light source is to provide heat to perform a polymerase chain reaction to create copies of the target molecule on the plasmonic sensor. The second light source is to induce luminescence on the plasmonic sensor. The detection device is to generate a detection signal of the target molecule based on an intensity of the luminescence that is scattered by the plasmonic sensor.

An example apparatus includes a first fluid ejection device coupled to a first fluid vessel, and a second fluid ejection device coupled to a second fluid vessel. The apparatus also includes a processor to control the first fluid ejection device to dispense colloidal nanoparticles from the first fluid vessel onto a testing location on a substrate, and control the second fluid ejection device to dispense a target analyte from the second fluid vessel onto the testing location to form a test mixture.
