    Abstract: 1331929 Production of mineral cattle food KNAPSACK AG 6 March 1972 [6 March 1971] 10304/72 Heading C1A A mineral cattle food, consisting of phosphates of calcium and optionally of sodium and/or magnesium, made by the reaction of phosphoric acid with compounds of calcium and optionally of sodium and/or magnesium has its storage life improved by cooling the hot reaction product down to a temperature between 30 and 52‹ C. and holding it at that temperature for at least 5 mins. prior to storing or packing it. The apparatus for carrying out the process comprising a plurality of reservoirs for starting materials, connected to a mixing reactor device, followed by a grinding and drying means, heated by hot gas which is connected, through a cooler and sifter to a collecting tank, the hot gas then being filtered before exposure to the atmosphere.
