Abstract: Halocarboxylic acids, which are obtained in many reactions in the form of mixtures, can be separated by means of an extraction method. This separation by means of this extraction is carried out by countercurrent distribution of the mixture in a distribution medium (bed) composed of two solvents which are not miscible with each other. The acids in question are obtained with a high degree of purity.
