Abstract: The invention relates to a composition suitable for use in cleaning panes of glass, consisting of a pelleted blend of surfactants, the composition containing: (a) a water-soluble alkali metal polyphosphate of high molecular weight with a P2O5-content of 60 to 70 weight %; (b) at least one alkali metal carbonate or hydrogen-carbonate; (c) at least one crystalline substance producing an acid reaction in aqueous solution; (d) at least one anion-active and/or non-ionic surfactant; and (e) at least one filler, if desired or convenient.

Abstract: In a process for making free flowing compsns. based on anhydrite (I), an activator (II), a liquifying agent consisting of a sulphite- or sulphonic acid modified amino resin (III) based on an amino-s-triazine with >=2 NH2 gps., a wetting agent (IV) and water, the (II), (III) and (IV) are first completely dissolved in the water and the resulting soln. is introduced into a mixing zone contg. the (I). The prods. are pumpable, self-levelling fluid materials which are esp. useful for levelling floors prior to the laying of parquet or tiles. By dissolving the (II), (III) and (IV) in water prior to mixing with the (I), smaller amts. of (III) can be used than in prior art materials in which the (III) is mixed with the (I) before adding the water, without affecting the fluidity or strength of the prod. The amt. of (III) used is 0.01-0.5 wt.% (on I) compared with 0.5-10 wt.% previously.

Abstract: GRANULATE CONSISTING OF HYDRATED SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE AND WATER-INSOLUBLE ALUMINO SILICATE ION EXCHANGER MATERIAL The invention provides a granulate comprising particles having sizes substantially within the range 0.15 to 1.25 mm, the granulate consisting of:a) about 1 to 99 weight% of partially or completely hydrated sodium tripolyphosphate containing water of hydration in a proportion of at least about 10 weight%, based on the theoretically possible water content, the anhydrous sodium tripolyphosphate containing about 20 to 90 weight% of phase-I-material prior to its being hydrated, the balance being phase-II, andb) about 99 to 1 weight% of a water-insoluble alumino silicate ion exchanger material of the general formula (Cat 2/n0)x ? Me2O3 ? (SiO2)y ? zH2O in which Cat stands for a calcium exchangeable cation with the valency n, x is 0.7 to 1.5, Me stands for boron or aluminum, y is 0.8 to 6, and z is 1.8 to 13.5. The invention also includes a spray process for making a granulate as just specified. The present granulate can be made with a particle size distribution which gives it particular utility as a detergent composition constituent.
