    Abstract: Green ceramic films (I) are produced by casting and drying a slip (II) contg. finely-divided inorganic pigment, organic solvent, polyvinyl butyral (PVB), plasticiser and dispersant (III); the novelty is that (III) is a cpd. contg. at least one unit of formula (a) (b) or (c) where A, Bis C3-4H6-8O- or -C2H4O- (A and B must be different); x,y=1-200. Pref. Z=Z1 and Z2; (III) contains cpds. obtd. by addn. of block copolymer residue(s) of x ethylene oxide (EO) units and y propylene oxide (PO) units or x PO and y EO units, to the amino gps. of N-(1-18C aliphatic)-substd. prim. or sec. amines or prim., prim./sec. or sec. di-or poly-amines, or of such cpds. with amino atoms bonded to one another by multivalent 1-12C aliphatic residues (opt. also contg. tert. or quat. -substd. N atoms and/or other substits.), pref. to the amino gps. of ethylenediamine; amt. of (III) is 0.1-10 wt. % w.r.t. pigment; pigment is finely-divided Al2O3; the PVB contains 15-22 wt.% vinyl alcohol units.

    Abstract: A 3-component lacquer composed of A) compounds containing at least two R1R2C=CR3-X groups (I) wherein R1 denotes hydrogen or a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, R2 and R3 are individually hydrogen, a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an ester group containing the radical R4 of a monohydric alcohol having up to 12 carbon atoms, -CN, -NO2 or a -CO-NHR1 or -CO-R1 group, X is -CO- which is attached to a further R1R2C=CR3- group either directly or via the radical of a polyhydric alcohol or of an amine and B) compounds containing: (a) at least two active H atoms or (b) at least two groups having active H atoms of the type -AH (II) or (c) at least one active H atom and at least one group of the type (II) and A is -CH- or -NH- or -S- and optionally with customary additives and C) at least one catalyst selected from the group consisting of diazabicyclooctane (DABCO), fluorides of quaternary ammonium compounds on their own or as a mixture with alkyl silicates, amidines, tertiary phosphanes of the formula P(CH2-Y)3 in which the Ys are identical or different and are -OH, -CH2CN or -N(Z)2 in which Z is an alkyl having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, tertiary phosphanes of the formula P(R4,R5,R6) in which R4, R5 and R6 are alkyl of 1 to 12 carbon atoms or a phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by at least one alkyl, alkoxy or dialkylamino, each of which has 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl, and R4, R5 and R6 are identical or different, but at least one of them is phenyl, and aminophosphoranes of the formula (R7,R8,R9) P=N-C (R10, R11,R12) in which R7, R8 and R9 are identical or different and denote an alkyl having 1 to 12 carbon atoms or a alkoxy or dialkylamino group, each of which has 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl, and R10, R11 and R12 are identical or different and each represents an alkyl having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or a phenyl.

    Abstract: Ceramic green sheets having an advantageous isotropic distribution of the inorganic pigment can be obtained by casting and drying of a slip which contains finely divided inorganic pigment, organic solvent, polyvinylbutyral, plasticiser and dispersant, if there are used as dispersant compounds which, in their molecules, contain at least one structural unit of the formula Z, in which A and B, which must be different, for either the oxyalkylene unit -C3-4H6-8O- or the oxyalkylene unit -C2H4O- and x and y, which can be identical or different, are each a number from 1 to 200. Ceramic green sheets produced according to the invention can be converted into isotropic ceramic substrates by subsequent thermal treatment and sintering.
