Abstract:
1278997 Cleaning soiled rubber rollers FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 22 Oct 1969 [22 Oct 1968] 51687/69 Heading C5D A cleaning composition for removing the residues of dye preparations adhering to the cylinder and rollers in the dyeing and drying units of textile plants consists essentially of (A) an oxalkylated aliphatic alcohol surfactant and (B) a polyalkylene glycol. (A) and (B) may be used as such or diluted with water in quantities of 20-200 c.c./litre of water. A mixture containing equal proportions of (A) and (B) is preferred. Compounds (A) may be aliphatic alcohols of 10 to 20 carbon atoms condensed with I to 15 mols. of an alkylene oxide preferably ethylene oxide. Compounds (B) may be polyethylene glycols, polypropylene glycols or mixtures thereof of molecular weight 300-1000.
