    Abstract: Un procedimiento para aplicar una película húmeda (15) a un sustrato (18), que comprende: aplicar un material de recubrimiento (12) desde un extremo de salida (35) de un troquel ranurado sobre dicho sustrato (18) para formar dicha película húmeda (15) sobre dicho sustrato (18); controlar un grosor de dicha película húmeda (15) con respecto a dicho sustrato (18) ajustando un diferencial de presión existente entre un lado anterior de dicho troquel ranurado y un lado posterior de dicho troquel ranurado; y mantener un hueco de recubrimiento constante entre dicho extremo de salida (35) de dicho troquel ranurado y dicho sustrato (18) mientras se controla dicho grosor de dicha película húmeda (15), en el que dicho material de recubrimiento (12) incluye un reactivo para producir una señal óptica o electroquímica en presencia de un analito de prueba.
