Abstract: The invention relates to a tape cassette having a reeled-up carrier tape (2) that carries at least one type of functional elements, namely test elements (3) and/or puncturing elements (4), that are arranged at a distance from each other in tape direction. The invention provides the distances in tape direction from a functional element (3, 4) to the next functional element (3, 4) of the same type to change periodically in space at a period P. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for manufacture of a tape cassette of this type.
