Abstract: A coolant spray device is arranged to be fitted within a compartment, such as, the driver/passenger compartment of a vehicle, to be cooled. The device can be installed at the centre of and inside the roof of the compartment and may be set to spray coolant thereinto when a door thereof is opened. The device is arranged to spray coolant into the front and rear areas of the compartment, preferably towards the upper regions of front and rear seats thereof. An actuating arm (19) of operating mechanism (3) presses down on an arcuate plate (14) of the top of a valve stem (11), to cause a jet of coolant to be sprayed from each of two symmetrically opposed orifices (13). The operating mechanism (3) includes an electric motor (15), main gear (16) reducing gear (17) and a follower (18). The motor (15) is controlled by a timer.

Abstract: A vehicular internal air eliminating device comprises air elimination assembly 1 and power supply assembly 2. With a solar power-collecting plate on its roof, the vehicle when parked in the simmering sun can have its storage battery 17 charged via the generated photoelectric effects, and by use of the electricity power of storage battery 17, air elimination assembly 1 can be actuated to endlessly eliminate the vehicular internal air out of the vehicle body to render the temperature inside equal to that of the outside.

Abstract: Apparatus (1) for controlling the interior air temperature of a confined space, such as, the passenger/driver compartment of a vehicle, comprising fan means (7) arranged to circulate air whose temperature is to be controlled, a thermoelectric device (4) and means (6, 13) arranged to direct air being circulated by said fan means (7) onto the thermoelectric device (4). In disc-shaped form, the device (4) has one part heated and another part cooled when a d.c. voltage of one polarity is applied across it, with the one part being cooled and the other part being heated when the polarity of the d.c. voltage is reversed.
