PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device for a lens capable of suppressing a difference in irradiation conditions due to a difference in the shape of a lens substrate.SOLUTION: A light irradiation device for a lens comprises: a light source; a lens stage 28 which is disposed opposed to the light source and which places thereon a lens substrate 30 with its convex surface side as a light source side; and a reflection part 21 having a reflection surface 22 for guiding reflected light of light from the light source to the lens substrate 30 in a condition that the lens substrate 30 is placed on the lens stage 28. The reflection surface 22 is shaped and disposed so as to be capable of adjusting the amount of light irradiated to a peripheral portion of the lens substrate 30 such that the amount of reflected light directed to the peripheral portion is substantially equal to or greater than a central portion of the lens substrate 30, and a difference in the amount of light irradiated between the central portion and the peripheral portion of the lens substrate 30 is adjusted by using the amount of reflected light from the refection surface 22.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stylus from being detached from a lens and falling during measurement of lens shape. SOLUTION: A lens holding unit 12 and a tracer mechanism part 13 are provided on a base plate 11a of a base 11. The whole lens holding unit 12 is fixed on the base plate 11a, and the already machined lens 14 is held by the lens holding unit 12. A stylus unit 30 on a stylus base 20 is installed with the stylus 31. The stylus 31 directs in the horizontal direction, i.e., in a Z-axis direction. The stylus unit 30 moves in the Z-axis direction and a Y-axis direction, so that the stylus 31 contacts with the periphery of the lens 14, and tracing is executed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a lens holder that can hold lens well and easily determine without fail whether the type is the same or not. SOLUTION: The tubular lens holder 2 having a concave spherical lens holding face 9 at its end holds multiple kinds of a lens 1. The curvature of the convex side lens face 1a differs depending on the elastic seal 3 attached on the lens holding face 9. The multiple types of the lens 1 are classified into a group of multiple lenses whose curvatures of the convex side lens face 1a are approximate one another. On the other hand, the lens holder 2 comprises of multiple lens holders corresponding to the lens group. Each type of the lens holder holds a lens belonging to the corresponding lens group by the periphery of the lens holding face 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp member for spectacle frame shape measuring instrument that can accurately measure right and left rim shapes under the same measurement conditions without causing a measuring element to abut against a bridge even if a spectacle frame is such a type that the bridge projects large forward from the rims. SOLUTION: When the rim shapes of the spectacle frame 5 whose bridge 10 projects large forward from a frame groove 6 are measured, the clamp member 130 is mounted between clamp levers 50A and 50B of a clamping means 50 clamping an upper rim part 6a of a rim 6 to hold the upper rim part 6a by a holding part 131 formed of a V-shaped groove formed in the front of the clamp member 130. The holding part 131 is positioned (d) above the holding center height of the clamping means 50, and consequently the rim 6 is held slanting forward at an angle σ, thereby displacing the bridge 10 upward by a distance (d). The measuring element 4, therefore, never abuts against the bridge 10 when passing below the bridge 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining holder facilitating installation/removal work of a frame template and a lens, and improving the operability. SOLUTION: Template fixing member 100 is fixed to a template-installing part of the retaining holder. On an installation face 100a of the template-fixing member 100, a screw-installing hole 101 is formed, while a positioning pin 102 for positioning the frame template 6 is made to protrude. A fixing pin 103 is driven into the template-fixing member 100 to protrude a tip portion 103a into the screw-installing hole 101. The fixing screw 104, fixing the frame template 6 to the installation face 100a, is provided with a guide groove for pin 110. The fixing screw 104 is inserted into the screw-installing hole 101 with aligning the tip portion 103a of the fixing pin 103 with the groove 110. The tip portion 103a is protruded through the groove 110 and is pressed against the groove wall of a screw groove 105b by turning the fixing screw 104 in the tightening direction within one turn. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for measuring shape of spectacle frames that can be reduced in size, by reducing the height of the instrument itself by devising the arrangement and constitution of a Z-axis measuring instrument which measures the vertical displacement of a probe. SOLUTION: A rod 65, provided with a stylus 37 at its upper end, is provided vertically movably in a slider 62. A plate 81 is fixed to the lower end of the rod 65, and the rod 65 is urged upward by elastically fitting a balance spring 80 in between the plate 81 and a lower plate 61. In addition, the Z-axis measuring instrument 100, which measures the vertical movement of the rod 65 as the vertical displacement Z of the stylus 37, is provided above the plate 81. The measuring instrument 100 is composed of a ring-like sensor head 101, fixed and arranged on the slider 62 side and a sensor rod 102 which slidably passed through the sensor head 101, and the sensor rod 102 is erected on the plate 81 so that the rod 102 is positioned on the side of the rod 65. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for measuring shapes of spectacle frames that can accurately measure the vertical displacement of the spectacle frames by preventing a probe from falling off from a frame groove, deformation of rims, and so on. SOLUTION: A stylus 37, which moves along the frame groove 36 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the rims 35A (35B) of the spectacle frame is held in a vertically movable state by means of a Z-direction holding mechanism 66. The holding mechanism 66 is constituted of a vertically movable rod 65, fitted with the stylus 37 at its upper end and a balance spring 80, which holds the rod 65 at a prescribed height position by pushing up the rod 65 at measuring of the shape of the spectacles frame. Usually, the rod 65 is locked downward by means of a turning lever 92 of a backspace mechanism 67 and, at measuring time, the rod 65 is unlocked by raising and turning the turning lever 92 by means of an actuator 90. Consequently, the rod 65 is raised by means of the balance spring 80, and the stylus 37 is moved from a saved position T to a loading position Rd. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
