Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for illustrating relations among filter rules for a computer system. SOLUTION: The computer system is provided with a display device. Priority is placed on each of the filter rules. The method and system includes permission of introducing at least one filter rule among the filter rules and illustration of 1st parts of the filter rules onto the display device. The display device hierarchically displays the 1st parts of the filter rules based on each of the 1st parts of the filter rules. When the 1st parts of the filter rules include the filter rules crossing each other as shown in Figure, the crossing filter rules are illustrated in a way that one intersection between at least one filter rule with higher priority and at least one filter rule with lower priority is illustrated, and at least the one filter rule with the higher priority and at least the one filter rule are illustrated such that the one filter rule with the higher priority takes precedence over at least the one filter rule with lower priority.
