Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for targeting a multimedia system for an advertisement in a data processing system. SOLUTION: In response to a user entry received from the multimedia system, a video stream and an audio stream are selected out of the set of video streams and the set of audio streams on an event, and the selected video stream and audio stream are formed. On the basis of these selected video stream and selected audio stream, an advertisement is selected out of the set of advertisements and the selected advertisement is formed. The selected advertisement is sent to the multimedia system.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system that can easily adjust multimedia exhibition of an event in a multimedia system computerized in matching with a desire of a user. SOLUTION: The user selects a programming extracted from a distributed database and selects a plurality of AV streams (S802). The user selects a plurality of audio overlays in the AV streams (S806), configures an exhibition profile of the selected audio streams and adjusts a relative sound volume of different audio streams (S814). Then the user selects a plurality of received video streams (S814) and configures an exhibition profile of the selected video streams (S816). The audio and video streams selected as above are synchronized with each other (S818), and an event is assigned to respective output devices for the audio and video streams selected by the user for the exhibition.

Abstract: A method and system for tailoring a multimedia presentation of an event on a computerized multimedia system to meet a user's desires. In a preferred embodiment, a set of video streams and a set of audio streams for the event are provided to the user via a network coupled to the multimedia system. From the set of available video streams for the event, one or more video streams are selected for presentation to the user. From the set of available audio streams for the event, one or more audio streams are selected for presentation to the user. Furthermore, the relative volumes of the different audio streams may be adjusted. In response to user input, the selected video and audio streams are assigned to respective portions of video and audio output devices. The event is presented to the user according to the selected video stream assignments.
