[Also in Division G2] A composition that cross-links on exposure to light comprises a linear polymer of butadiene or a substituted butadiene and an unsaturated highly chlorinated organic compound having not more than two hydrogen atoms and at least four chlorine atoms per molecule. Suitable polymers include cis- and trans- 1 ,4-polybutadiene, amorphous polybutadiene, polyisoprene, polychloroprene and poly-2,3-dimethyl butadiene. Compounds specified are perchlorofulvolene, hexachloro - 1,3 - cyclopentadiene, hexachloro - 1,3 - butadiene, hexachloro - 2 - cyclopentenone, chlorendic anhydride, hexachloro - (2,2,1) - bicycloheptadiene, hexachloro - cyclohexa - 2,4 - and - 2,5 - diene - one, chloranil, and hexachlorobenzene. The composition may include a solvent.
