Abstract: The present invention relates to portable electronic apparatus comprising a container (1) having a front surface (25), a back surface (26), a top surface (23), and a bottom surface (24), and adapted to be stored and used while supported on its bottom surface (24). According to the invention the apparatus is characterised in that the area of the bottom surface (24) is less than the area of the front surface (25), the front surface comprises a pivotably mounted cover, and a keyboard (4) is mounted on the inside of the pivotally mounted cover.
