    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a band operation highly by providing sensing means forming the signals correlated to a vibration mode in an actuator, inducing correction adjusting signals from these signals and combining the adjusting signals and a position signal and feeding back them to the actuator to avoid the limitation of a gain filtering. SOLUTION: A position sensor 36 or a read/write head is connected to a digital servo 40 and the operation of an actuator 26 is limited based on the position of the read/write head. Sensors 32, 34 are connected to an active actuator control 44 via a filter 46 being an arbitrary selection and an acceleration interrupting circuit 48 being an arbitrary selection. The actuator control 44 has a stiffening part 54, an active control part 56 and an inertia reducing part 58 and it induces a stiffening correction, an active braking correction and an inertia reducing correction from signals 52 and these adjustment signals 60 are transmitted to a coupler or an adder 62 to be connected to the digital servo 40.
