Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for identifying hardware. SOLUTION: A microprocessor (digital device) having micro-codes is integrated in a mechanical device. The mechanical device has an analog electric signal line for sending a digital signal including the identification data of the device itself to a central computer. Since the digital signal includes an operation range and other optional information, the mechanical device can be recognized by the information and the operation control of the device can be automatically integrated into the whole system on the basis of the information without interrupting it. The digital signal is transmitted to a central computer system immediately after detecting a power ON signal by the microprocessor built in the mechanical device.
