Abstract: PURPOSE: To paste text display data of a text editing program, which are tabulated and not formatted, to a table area of a spread sheet program as normal cell data. CONSTITUTION: The titled purpose is attained by providing a spread sheet type data converting means which processes data sent to a clip board or transferred to the spread sheet program by DDE on the side of the text editing program where the data are cut and pasted. The sperad sheet type data converting means converts the data into a format wherein table strucyture such as CSV is reflected by detecting ruled line information of the table of the text editing program, spaces present between columns, etc.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pointing irrelevantly to a difference in resolution between a screen and an image by calculating the position of final pointing from a position on the image and position correction information related to a template. SOLUTION: A block 110 is a pointing device and a display device and coordinates are inputted from it to an image processing engine 130. The image processing engine 130 inputs the input coordinates from the pointing device, templates, and an original image 140 and outputs proper pointing coordinates to a trailing-stage device 150. An image nearby the coordinates obtained from the pointing device is compared with the images of the templates to find the most matching template and its position on the image, and the position of final pointing is calculated from the position on the image and position correction information (position information on a hot spot) related to the template.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pad information into document data including a text recorded by means of page description by generating a feature string deciding a position where information is padded based on a layout and changing the page description of the text in the decided position in accordance with the information to be padded. SOLUTION: A character string object in page description, which is a padding object, is divided so that the positions of characters all feature strings aji and bji can be operated. A part where is not used for padding is divided at random so that a person making an attack cannot easily detect a part where a watermark is padded. A layout is analyzed on the set of the divided character string objects and they are reconstituted into row data. The characters corresponding to the feature strings aji and bji against a document being the padding object are decided based on row data after reconstitution. At the time of padding, the feature string corresponding to (j) is selected. When j-th bit is '1', an operation for increasing aji-bji increases is executed when (i) is '1' to 'n'.
