The invention relates to a method for converting a signal, comprising steps of: -providing a representation of the signal in a first domain; -converting the representation of the signal into a representation of the signal in a second domain, by applying a transform involving a Haartransform and a Hadamard transform, such that a basis ofthe second domain is maximally incoherent to a Haar basis.
