    Abstract: PURPOSE: To suppress EMI radiation of frequencies by introducing delay times which are expected to be effective for EMI radiation frequencies. CONSTITUTION: A delay generator 10 is provided for selectively changing the delay time. Such a delay generator is connected to plural input data lines 20 and composed of a delay means, having plural delay routes for generating mutually different lengths of plural delay times, a register for holding the digital value of prescribed bits, and a selecting means for selecting one of delay routes and interposing it on the signal line corresponding to the digital value.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce EMI radiation by converting data to be put on a plurality of data lines in such a mode that the EMI generated from the data lines are reduced as compared with the case where the data are not converted. CONSTITUTION: When a SYNC signal which is one of interface signals is real, n-bit counters 110 and 120 are reset and, when the SYNC signal is false, the counters 110 and 120 make counting operations. Adders 120 and 220 respectively add the output values of the counters 110 and 120 to data '1',..., 'n' at every bit including carries. Timing adjusting circuits 130 and 230 make the output value of the counter 110 to be properly subtracted by means of a signal demodulation circuit 200 by adjusting the operations of a signal conversion circuit 100 and the operating timing of the circuit 200. When, for example, all bits of the data '1',..., 'n' do not change for more than a fixed period of time, the data conversion by means of the circuit 100 is not required, because EMI radiation is originally less.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the EMI in a source driver card for liquid crystal displays. SOLUTION: A source driver card 20 for liquid crystal displays is of a microstrip type. Odd-numbered video signal buses 40 and even-numbered video signal buses 41 extend in the length direction of a board and comprise through- vias 32, 33 at a lengthwise center to which signals are inputted from a tab driver LSI 34. Each odd-numbered video signal bus 40 comprises a plurality of through-vias 30 at positions which are symmetric with respect to the via 32 and tab leading wires 44 are led from the vias 30. Each even-numbered video signal bus 41 comprises a plurality of through-bias 31, at positions symmetric to the via 33, and tab leading wires 44 are led from the vias 31.
