Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for a high-integrated radio frequency transceiver allowing selection or change of a component deciding a different operation frequency. SOLUTION: A switch 11 is formed by use of a micro electromechanical system (i.e., a fluctuation motor). The switch 11 comprises a non-conductive flat substrate 13 having a center support post 15 and a center electrode D0, and a conductive circular rotor 17. The substrate 13 has drive rings 21 including drive electrodes D1-D12, and switch rings 23 including switch contact pieces S1-S12. The respective drive electrodes D1-D12 can pull down the rotor 17 to bring the rotor 17 into contact with the switch contact pieces S1-S12 corresponding to the drive electrodes D1-D12. For example, when the drive electrode D3 is operated, the rotor 17 is inclined right to come in contact with the switch contact piece S3 at the three o'clock position. As a result, the center electrode D0 is electrically connected to the switch contact piece S3.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wobble disc capacitor using a wobble motor. SOLUTION: In a device used for a transceiver of highly integrated radio frequency, a micro-electromechanical system or a wobble motor is used for forming a good switch 11 and selecting and changing a component which decides different operational frequencies. Each device has a substrate 13 having concentric rings 21, 23 of an electrode and a contact. A circular roter 17 is rotated, that is, caused to wobble at the center to fit to a contact along a circumferential edge part thereof. Symmetrical or asymmetrical shape, which interacts with one or more steady-state capacitor electrodes on a substrate, can be prepared by changing the rotor 17 mechanically or materially. For the arrangement of an rotor formed item through rotation, overlapping and separation with respect to a capacitor electrode, capacity is changed.

Abstract: IMPACT PRINTER ACTUATOR A print actuator for dot matrix applications having a stator with a coil wrapped thereon and constrained by the walls of the stator. An armature extends above the stator in a cantilever or pivoted manner. The armature controls movement of a print element. The magnetic flux path extends transversely through the width of the armature and the periphery of the stator at walls supporting the armature. Multiple armatures are included in a common armature plate. Twin multi-coil stators are mounted for operation of the armatures on the plate. The stators have magnetic stator sections adjacent the armatures, and have non-magnetic heat-dissipating stator sections remote from the armatures. In its cocked position, the armature is flexed to a profile which optimizes armature dynamics, such as a profile similar to the first bending mode.

A movement mechanism moves at least one of the pallets in a lateral direction relative to the other pallet and then towards the other pallet in a direction orthogonal to the lateral direction. The movement mechanism can be connected to the cover of the computer to automatically control movement of the pallets based upon position of the cover relative to a base of the computer. Thus, the pallets can be automatically moved from the compact stowing position, when the cover is closed, to the extended operational position when the cover is opened. Upon moving the cover from the open position to the closed position, the pallets are automatically moved from the extended operational position to the compact stowing position.
