Abstract: An electromagnetic print hammer comprises a magnetic core structure having a magnetic core with an armature movable between one flux path and another flux path. Means are provided for producing a magnetic flux in said core structure and control windings are energized to switch the flux from said one to said another flux path causing the armature to change position.
