Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method and a program product for scheduling tasks in a computer system. SOLUTION: The system to be disclosed comprises a plurality of levels and each level has at least one queue. Each queue has at least one processing function and a cluster in relation to it. Flow control technique is used at various levels among the queues for the purpose of efficiently scheduling the tasks so that task elimination rate is reduced. A correcting action such as change of dispatch speed or change of buffer capacity of the queues is performed by the queues based on a flow control instruction. Abstract: In a method for scaling up/down security (non-functional) components of an application, determine ( a) types of interactions and a number of each type of interaction each non-security (functional) component has with security components for a plurality of requests.
