SOLUTION: When the cover 104 of the notebook PC is closed, a high frequency signal from radio equipment 108 provided on the main body 101 is transmitted from a 1st antenna 106 to a 2nd antenna 109, and then emitted externally from a 3rd antenna 111. In this structure, since the high frequency is transmitted with non-contact from the antenna 106 of the main body 101 to the antenna 109 of the cover 104, no signal cable interconnecting the main body 101 and the cover 104 is required.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aperture antenna that can match a coaxial cable in compliance and the standards without the need for using a matching circuit. SOLUTION: The antenna system is provided with a 1st planar conductor 2a having an aperture whose length in a 2nd direction (x direction) perpendicular to a 1st direction (y direction) is longer than the aperture length in the 1st direction, a 2nd conductor 2b that is placed in the inside of the aperture within substantially the same plane as that of the 1st conductor 2a and apart from the 1st conductor, and an unbalanced high frequency cable 4 (transmission line) whose center conductor 4a (signal wire) is connected to the 2nd conductor 2b and whose outer cover conductor 4b (ground wire) is connected to the 1st conductor 2a. A center distance Xb of gaps existing between the 1st and 2nd conductors in the 2nd direction is selected to be 1/2 of an electric length λwith respect to a frequency band of a radiated radio wave signal.
