Abstract: Described is a magnetic disk apparatus including at least one magnetic disk 1 comprising a glass or ceramic substrate. Magnetic heads (3a, 3b) are arranged on opposite surfaces of the disk and are shifted with respect to one another in a radial direction. This shifting reduces the amount of crosstalk and signal deterioration caused by the electromagnetic coupling of the two heads.
