Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for independently cooling each of a plurality of zones of a computer system in relation to their respective zone power consumptions. The power consumption of heat-generating devices is monitored at each of a plurality of zones of a computer system. The cooling fluid flow rate to each zone is independently controlled. When an increase in power consumption is detected in a zone, the cooling fluid flow rate to that is increased in response. The temperature of each zone may also be monitored and the cooling fluid flow rate increased to stop the temperature rising above a present temperature.
