Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically classify and sort information items of a retrieval result according to contents of a retrieval sentence by a natural language sentence, and to output the retrieval result by a format allowing a user to easily refer to it. SOLUTION: This information retrieval system has: an input part 10 inputting the retrieval sentence by the natural language sentence; a natural language processing part 20 performing natural language analysis to the inputted retrieval sentence; a retrieval part 30 performing information retrieval by use of a keyword obtained by the natural language analysis of the retrieval sentence; a retrieval result processing part 40 performing analysis based on semantic contents defined by ontology to the keyword obtained by the natural language analysis of the retrieval sentence and its modifier, and performing prosssing such as sorting and classifying a retrieval result of the information retrieval by the retrieval part 30 on the basis of an analysis result thereof; and an output part 50 outputting the retrieval result processed by the retrieval result processing part 40. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve information utilizing meanings provided to information on a network by a semantic web utilizing ontology without requesting a complicated work for creating a query sentence in line with the ontology to a user. SOLUTION: An information retrieval support system is disclosed which is equipped with, at a front stage of a search engine which retrieves information utilizing the ontology with, a morphological analysis part 21, a syntax semantic analysis part 22 and a language conversion execution part 23 which converts a natural language sentence to which analysis processing has been applied into the query sentence described in an ontology description language by referring to information indicating to what property of the ontology relation between a predictive and two words of a subjective case and an objective case in the natural language sentence corresponds and a case frame ontology dictionary 26 which stores a case frame of the natural language sentence in the property. Then, the query sentence described in the ontology description language is generated based on a result by inputting the natural language sentence and performing syntactical analysis and semantic analysis and provided to the search engine. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send image data efficiently via a network by transmitting transmission data with identification data denoting reduced amount data added thereto when the amount of the transmission data is small to an image data receiver. SOLUTION: A change detection section 236 decides an accumulated value of absolute values of differences of real color difference data, detects a change in the image and outputs the result of detection to an output control section 234. A subtractive color conversion section 226 reduces colors of the real image data (R, k-1) stored in an image storage section 222 to produce subtractive color image data (16, k-1). An image storage section 230 stores the received subtractive color image data (16, k-1), a difference calculation section 232 calculates a difference between the subtractive color image data (16, k-1) stored in the image storage section 230 and the real color image data (R, k-1) stored in the image storage section 222 to produce difference data (D') and outputs the data (D') to an input terminal (a) of the output control section 234.
