Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a means for exactly displaying black at a place where black should be displayed, and displaying a further clear color picture in the display device of a computer. CONSTITUTION: This controller for a display device is connected with a display device through R, G, and B color information signal lines 4, and horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals 7 and 8, is provided with a means 9 for fetching a black information signal in which N bits are defined as a prescribed pattern from at least one of the R, G, and B color information signal lines 4 constituted of N bit digital signals, and a means for superimposing the fetched black information signal on at least one of the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals 7 and 8.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To perform the high voltage stabilization of a CRT with extremely high accuracy without the need for excessive circuits. CONSTITUTION: This circuit is provided with a driving circuit 7 for generating a voltage amplitude for driving the cathode 6 of the CRT 1 in response to video signals, a low-pass filter provided with resistors R20 and R21 and a capacitor C4 for generating an output voltage from which the high frequency component of the video signals is removed, and a high voltage control circuit 4 for controlling a voltage to be applied to the anode 2 of the CRT 1 in response to the output voltage of the capacitor 4.
