Abstract: A method of indexing individual slides of a presentation comprises selecting a slide of a presentation (S2.1), determining one or more words in the selected slide (S2.2), counting the number of occurrences of each determined word (S2.3) in the selected slide, and storing an identifier for the selected slide (S2.4), the identifier comprising pairs of each of the determined words and the corresponding counted occurrences of the words. Such a simple identifier represents a summary of the slide and can allow users to define queries to search for individual slides.
