    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object-oriented frame work mechanism for metering an object. SOLUTION: An object-oriented framework mechanism provides a direct and convenient method for realizing the metering of an arbitrary type of program, which needs metering in an object-oriented computer program. An object metering framework includes a core function and an extendable mechanism. A core class and a core class relation define the core function of the framework mechanism. The extendable function is defined by an extendable class, which can be extended for realizing a desired metering environment by a programmer. The framework provides a consistent programmer interface in the various metering environments. Thus, the efficiency of the programmer is sharply improved, and the maintenance of a result code is extremely easily attained.
