Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with an on-demand access to information pertaining to a movie while the movie is being displayed. SOLUTION: The system functions by displaying a movie and receiving an inquiry pertaining to the movie. The system judges a frame of the movie which was being displayed when the user issued an inquiry. A portion of the information pertaining to the movie related to the frame is identified as specified by the inquiry and displayed to the user. The system also refers to a manager for allowing a user to produce a private use version of the movie and a private collection of items. The system also refers to a system and method for providing a user with an on-demand access to commercial information pertaining to the movie while the movie is being displayed and providing an on-demand connection to a seller.
