Abstract: IMPROVED HERMETICALLY SEALED DISK FILE An improved hermetically sealed disk file is disclosed in which the axis of rotation of the disk spindle and the longitudinal axis of a surrounding cylindrical housing are positioned transverse to one another so that cross-sectional diameter of the housing need be only slightly larger than that of the disks mounted on the spindle.
