    Abstract: An apparatus is presented for displaying digital data as visual images in a format suitable for viewing by sizable audiences. The apparatus combines a computing device with a visual display device into single portable physical unit. The portable visual display apparatus for receiving and visually displaying digital data includes a computing device adapted to receive and to process the digital data, the computing device being capable of converting the data into electrical signals suitable for display as images; and a visual display device adapted to accept the electrical signals and to project images in a format suitable for viewing by a plurality of viewers, wherein the computing device and the visual display device form a single physical unit during operation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which relates the output of a digitizer type device to the entry that is held by an electronic personal information management tool(PIM tool) such as an electronic calendar, an electronic appointment book, an electronic organizer book and an electronic diary for attaining their mutual reference and/or linkage. SOLUTION: A stroke database includes plural stoke entries having time stamps and a PIM database includes plural entries having the time related to the base itself. A controller searches for at least, one of the stroke database and PIM database and detects the place of the corresponding entry of each database designating that a specific stroke entry is produced at the time corresponding to a specific TIM database entry. Then a link is formed between both stroke entry and PIM database entry and the corresponding stroke information that is related to the specific TIM database entry can be visualized.
